We stand behind the quality of all our hair products. We know that we can work together with our clients to make every purchase a positive experience. Due to the nature of our hair product, and because each individual hair piece comes from a completely separate donor, we cannot guarantee hair color or texture.
All terms of payment are always 100% percent upfront. We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal. As soon as you place an order online your credit card or PayPal account will be charged.
We absolutely have no tolerance for credit card fraud and theft of our merchandise. Any fraudulent purchases will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
HAIR TEXTURE DISCLAIMER
Virgin human hair is very very distinct, and no two heads of hair are exactly alike. Our pictures are meant to give you a good and reasonable idea of our textures. When you place an order with us you will notice that there may be variation between our pictures and that of the hair you receive in the mail. Lengths can also vary half an inch to an inch. This is unavoidable when buying and wearing premium quality virgin hair.
HAIR COLOR DISCLAIMER
We only supply unprocessed virgin hair, the hair comes in natural shades of 1 (Black), 1B (Off Black), 2 (Dark Brown), and 2B (dark brown with natural highlights and or undertones). If you choose to color the hair, it takes and holds permanent, cellophane, semi-permanent, and lifts very well! However, we do recommend it to be done by a professional stylist.
Refunds and or exchanges WILL NOT be issued for expectations and or dissatisfaction with texture, stitching construction or color.
PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
As stated previously, all payment terms are always 100% percent upfront and in advance. We accept all major credit cards through PayPal. As soon as you place an order online your credit card/PayPal account will be charged. We have no tolerance for credit card fraud. Any fraudulent purchases will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm CST. Orders placed over the weekend will be shipped on Monday morning once processed unless it is a holiday. Once shipped, orders arrive within the time frame you selected at checkout. ONCE PAYMENTS ARE MADE THERE WILL BE NO CANCELLATIONS OF ORDERS.
If any product is out of stock, it will be shown as “sold out” and or out of stock and you will not be able to purchase that product.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
There are no refunds.
At Black Star Extensions we maintain a very high level of quality assurance. Every bundle of hair goes through a vigorous process to make sure you are receiving the best quality product possible. All hair orders are thoroughly inspected before shipping. It is our primary focus to make sure you are completely satisfied. You may exchange your hair for store credit or a different product.
You must contact us within 30 days for return and exchange instructions. The day the product was delivered to you counts as the 1st day. If the items have not been returned within those 30 calendar days, due to the nature of our products, the purchase becomes final.
In the case of wholesale orders (orders of 12 pieces or more) that are purchased on the website or through PayPal Invoices, items must be returned within 7 calendar days after delivery/out for delivery date, otherwise all wholesale order sales are final. Any customized orders including ALL WIGS and ALL TAPE-IN, or CLIP-IN orders are FINAL upon delivery. We will not accept fraudulent returns that cannot be verified by our manufacturing plant as Black Star Extensions Hair Products. If ANY tags are removed from the hair, it is considered used, and all sales are final on used hair.
If a return is made within the return period or if Black Star Extensions in its own discretion decides to approve a return, all buyers agree to a $20.00 restock fee and shipping back to us must be paid for by buyer. This restocking fee is because we are a relatively small company and the internal costs of restocking and exchanging our inventory can grow with every return. All orders are subject to a $20.00 restock fee if the order is returned or canceled.
We take great pride in our product. Since natural virgin hair benefits from simple washes and deep conditioning, many of your hair concerns can often easily be remedied by implementing a hair care regimen. However, if you feel you’ve received a hair product that is truly defective and unusual, we want you to contact us.
If you have received any product that is defective you must contact us within 7 calendar days of receipt of the hair. We will address the quality issue at once. A BSE representative will provide the customer with mailing instructions to return the product in question. Customers will be responsible for paying costs associated with returning the item to the Black Star Extensions Distribution Center. If Black Star Extensions, verifies and agrees that the product is in some way defective, Black Star Extensions will then exchange or replace the item.
If the customer wants a product of greater value in exchange, the customer will be responsible for paying the additional cost of that item. Black Star Extensions will cover the cost of shipping the exchanged/new item back to the customer, only in that instance. If Black Star Extensions cannot not verify the product defect issue, we will then return the item in question to the customer at our expense without an exchange of product. We will not accept any product that has been altered in any way fashion or form.
Black Star Extensions at its sole discretion, may exchange products under the following conditions:
- Requests must be made within 30 calendar days of receipt of product(s). Any exchange request after 30 calendar days will not be honored.
- If tags are removed from hair, it is considered used, and all sales are final on used hair.
- If at our sole discretion we decide to accept an exchange, there will be a $20 restock fee which will need to be paid by the customer via a separate PayPal invoice before the replacement product is shipped.
- An exchange for store credit will be made with the $20.00 restocking fee being automatically subtracted from the store credit issued to customer.
- We will not accept any merchandise which has been used or altered (including but not limited to: brushed, conditioned, combed, dyed, picked, cut, or washed) in any way. We will not accept or exchange any customized products such as Wigs, Tape-In and Clip-In Extensions.
Federal law states that no one can return human hair products that has been used. This includes removing the hair from the bundle packaging/tags or “trying it on”. We adhere to these strict policies with respect to hair returns and federal law. Please return the item in the original and resalable condition as a necessary health requirement.
Hair Products must be exchanged for store credit or something of equal or greater value. No refunds will be given.
In order to process an exchange, the unwanted hair product needs to be shipped back to our warehouse at your expense. We suggest you send through a shipping carrier that provides tracking information and delivery confirmation because we are not responsible for lost packages.
Once your product is received it will be examined thoroughly. If the product has been returned unused, in its original condition and can be verified that it is indeed Black Star Extensions hair by our manufacturer, we will exchange the product for another hair product of equal or greater value or give you store credit minus our $20.00 restocking fee.
SHIPPING DELAY POLICY
ALL Shipments Require a Signature UPON DELIVERY. The requirement for a signature can be waived by he customer via our shipping partner. For tracking verification purposes, BSE will never agree to waive the signature requirement.
For your own convenience, do not wait until the last minute to place your order with us. If you have a hair appointment, out of town trip, or any other appointments or engagements, it is always better to order far enough in advance to allow for any and all delays. We will give you a delivery estimate when you place your order based on the shipping address you provide on behalf of USPS and/or FedEx.
We are not responsible for late shipments that are due to inclement weather, acts of God, holidays, incorrect addresses, natural disasters, or carrier delays. Keep in mind that weekends and holidays do not count as business days and should be considered by you when calculating all shipping times. We expect United States Postal Service/DHL/FEDEX to deliver your package on time. If your package is delayed no reimbursement of shipping charges will be offered or permitted. REFUSED SHIPMENTS / INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS/ FAILED DELIVERIESIncomplete and/or incorrect addresses are the major cause of late deliveries & shipment delays. Double check the shipping address on your order. Make sure you have included ALL the correct and pertinent information (address, Floor, apt#, Building#, Directions, etc.) needed to deliver your shipment accurately. ALL orders will be shipped via USPS/DHL/FEDEX to the address you provide on the order form. It is extremely important that you give us the most accurate and complete address possible. If an address correction needs to be made after your shipment has been released from our warehouse you will be assessed the $10.00 address correction fee that USPS/DHL/FEDEX may charge us to make the correction. NO REFUNDS WILL BE PERMITTED / ISSUED FOR LATE, REFUSED OR ABANDONED ORDERS.
If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect, nonexistent or bad address you will be responsible for ALL additional re-shipping charges.
LOST SHIPMENT POLICY
If you are tracking your package on-line and there is a discrepancy in delivery information, or it has been lost in transit, please email us immediately. We will contact USPS/DHL/FEDEX to begin a trace on your package and to request an investigation. This investigation can take up to 8-30 business days. If it is determined by USPS/DHL/FEDEX that your shipment has been lost in their possession, a replacement will be shipped out to you at no cost pending USPS/DHL/FEDEX’s investigation.
BLACK STAR EXTENSIONS WILL NOT RESEND OR REPLACE A SHIPMENT THAT SHOWS DELIVERED ON USPS/DHL/FEDEX TRACKING.
Black Star Extensions reserves the right at our own discretion to make changes to prices, policies, the website itself and procedures. Please check this page periodically for changes.
COPYRIGHTS AND OTHER RIGHTS
Black Star Extensions does not accept liability beyond the remedies set forth herein, including any liability for products not being available for, or the provision of services and support. Black Star Extensions will not be liable for consequential, special, direct, indirect or punitive damages even if advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any third party except as expressly provided herein. This limitation of liability applies both to products website usage and services. Customer agrees that for any liability related to the purchase of products, Black Star Extensions nor Ansah Enterprises, LLC is liable or responsible for any amount of damages above the aggregate dollar amount paid by customer for the purchase of products or services under this agreement. Customer agrees that for any liability related to the purchase of services not bundled with products under this agreement, Black Star Extensions is not liable or responsible for any amount of damages above the aggregate dollar amount paid by customer for the purchase of services or products under this agreement.

Except for your own personal information, any communication or material you send to the Black Star Extensions site, electronically or otherwise, including but not limited to data, questions, ideas, comments, suggestions, or submissions is and will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary.
Anything you send to the Black Star Extensions site may be used by Black Star Extensions for any purpose including but not limited to modification, replication, reproduction, transmission, disclosure, re-posting publication, broadcast, and posting.
By submitting any material to Black Star Extensions, again, not including personal or financial information, you irrevocably transfer and assign to Black Star Extensions and forever waive and agree never to assert, any copyrights, “moral” rights, rights of publicity or to privacy, or other intellectual-property or proprietary rights that you may have in such material. Black Star Extensions is free to use, without obligation of any kind, any ideas, contemplation’s, concepts, techniques, or know-how contained in any communication you send to the Black Star Extensions site for any purpose, including but not limited to extrapolating, developing, manufacturing, and marketing products and services.
